Sherry

Sherry is Sheila’s sister and has been a part of the business in various ways. When Nick and Sheila were looking to find a building to condense all the booths Nick had, Sherry found the “for sale” sign on the current building and the adventure began.  Sherry currently helps around the store and runs the register when Nick is not available.

History of the Tea Room

The Tea Room has been a part of the Heber Springs Community for over 25 years.  It was open many years prior to the Stroman’s purchasing the building.

The front of the building was originally Gribbles Grocery and was built in 1905.  The back portion was built later and became the well known Tea Room for 17 years.  The Tea Room later closed for several years and fell into disrepair. After Nick retired he began to sell items in flea markets and decided to condense all his booths into one location in Heber Springs.  In April 2015 Nick and Sheila began renovations on the Tea Room as many customers had asked if they were going to reopen the restaurant.  July 4th, 2015 the Tea Room officially opened and now offers “Tea Room Therapy” to it’s patrons.
